Hush House
is generic term for engine testing facilities designed to mitigate
the jet engine noise. They generally refer to indoor
facilities such as an aircraft acoustical enclosure or
jet engine
test cell, but is also sometimes used to refer to outdoor facilities
such as a ground run-up enclosure.
