Ground Run-Up Enclosure
is an outdoor testing facility designed for in-frame testing of jet
engines, usually in large commercial aircraft. They generally use a large concrete slab
with tie-down fittings, a blast diverter/deflector, and acoustical
walls for sound absorption and redirection.
